Friday enjoyed auto racing and Installed convertible tops for four years and worked as an auto body repairman and a painter�s apprentice before entering the Army in August 1967. The corporal, assigned to Company II of the 3rd Battalion, 12th Intuit. try, 4th Infantry Division1~~, drowned while bathing in a Vietnamese river on April 7, 1968, two weeks before his 26th birthday. He was survived by his parent�s three brothers and a sister.
