"Bernie" Kissell bad his future planned. He would be borne In three weeks, married in four and enter the family business, Triple B Automotive on James Street. He was aggressive and hard-working, attributes that served him well in the Air Force and in Vietnam, where the aircraft mechanic was as-signed to Tan Son Nhut Air Base near Saigon. Kissell, 22, died 19 miles southwest of Ban Me Thout, Darlac Province, on Oct. 21, 1968. The staff sergeant was one of seven men from Tacony to die in Vietnam. Six of the seven, including Kissell, bad attended St. Leo�s Elementary School at Keystone and Unruh streets. Kissell graduated from Father Judge High School in 1964 and attended Temple University, where he was In the ROTC program. He was survived by his parents and a brother.
