William D. Hart

In June 1965, "Bill" Hart graduated from Frankford High School, where he was a member of the varsity track team, and the Prom and the Cap and Gown committees. He enlisted in the Marine Corps eight days after graduation. The 20-year-old corporal, a rifle-man and fire team leader in Company L of the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Di-vision, wrote from Vietnam that he was en-sure of what he wanted to do in life, but was considering becoming a Presbyterian minis-ter. He died on January 27, 1968. In Quang Tri! Province. Hart was survived by his parents and two sisters, one of them his twin.
