"Danny" Savage was a 20-year-old Marine Corps reconnaissance specialist in Vietnam with the 3rd Forward Reconaissance Cornpany of the 3rd Marine Amphibious Force. He died on Feb. 5, 1970, while on a long-range patrol in Thua Thien Province. Savage was a 1967 graduate of Frankford High School and worked as an office clerk before entering the Marines. Survivors included his parents, a brother and sister.
