Helpful hints for Veterans Day noon ceremony on 11-11-24:
Programs will be available.
Restrooms are located on north side of Korean War Memorial.
Your chance to win a commemorative POW-MIA granite cube. The cubes were made from the granite that was used to build our National POW-MIA Memorial, that sits at the northwest corner of memorial area.
(Other monuments include: the South Vietnamese Monument the Purple Heart Monumnet, the MOH Michael Crescenz statue, the ‘In Memory’ plaque, and the walkway of honor pavers that line both sides of the memorial walkways.)
Tickets for cubes will be on sale Monday, BEFORE the noon ceremony…see POW-MIA Chairman Pat Mitchell at our merchandise table.
…..$5 each ticket – 5 for $20.00. Cash, check, Zelle are accepted forms of payment for tickets and apparel purchases.
NO credit cards.
Look for winning ticket numbers that will be posted on sign on front lawn after the ceremony.
Anyone presenting a wreath must speak to Treasurer Patrick Mosley, giving him your name and organization ASAP!
Do not ‘abandon’ your wreath, please.
Parking is permitted where cardboard police signs are posted. Time limits in place. Thank you PPD.
We ask that DURING the ceremony, talking and cell phones be turned off.
For those who cannot attend, segments of the ceremony will be on PVVM Facebook ‘live’. Additional photos of the service will be posted later in the day on both PVVM Facebook and www.pvvm.org site.
