Posted: Tuesday, August 29, 2017

The PVVM Fund is joining the Veterans National Education Program to host with WHYY and “Radio Times'” Marty Moss-Coan, a veterans panel discussion in conjunction with the showing of Ken Burns’ “The Vietnam War.”  The discussion will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m at The Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. Third St. Veterans and Their Families Can Register for the Free Event and Free Museum Tickets at:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-vietnam-war-discussion-hosted-by-marty-moss-coane-tickets-36900520450?aff=WHYYwebsite

Former PA Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron Castille, one of the original founders of the Memorial, will kick off a preview of the documentary, which will premier on Sept. 17, before the discussion. The panel will examine the lingering impact of the war.

“When we suggested to WHYY this was a good time to engage local veterans when there is a national focus on the acclaimed documentary, they readily agreed,” said Terry A. Williamson, president of the PVVM Fund Board.  We encourage as many veterans and their families to attend this free event.” Veterans and their families will also get free admission to the Museum. Registration is required either by visiting whyy.org/events or following the link above.
