Retired General and Comcast Executive to Speak on Veterans Day
Brig. Gen. Carol Eggert USA (ret.) will deliver the main address on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, at 12:30 p.m. at the Memorial at Spruce Street and Columbus Blvd. BG Eggert is the vice president for Veterans and Military Affairs at Comcast Corporation. In addition, the ceremony will feature a performance by the Philadelphia Pops and an unveiling of a campaign to build a POW/MIA Monument at the Memorial.
