The dedication of the National Vietnam POW/MIA Monument will go forward on March 29 at noon, albeit as a virtual ceremony, the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial has announced. After a 30-month campaign and completed construction, the Monument to those from the Vietnam War had been set for Sunday, national Vietnam War Veterans Day, but like most other public events was cancelled. Not to be deterred, the Memorial opted for a five-minute presentation, featuring former POW Ralph Galati, which describes how the monument was built, the meaning of its design and a video of the actual Monument at the Memorial.
