Flyover marks observance of Black April at Penn’s Landing

A flyover with a huge flag representing the former Republic of Vietnam was the highlight of the annual Black April Commemoration held Saturday April 30th, 2022 at the Vietnamese Heritage & Freedom Flag Monument on The Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial ground, Spruce and Columbus Blvd.
The event is was sponsored by the Army of the Republic of Vietnam Air Force Association. This year marks the 47^th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. It has always been a solemn observance to honor the millions of Vietnamese and some 58 thousand members of the U.S. armed forces who died during the Vietnam War.
